The Cornerstone
Dear Blue Hens,

In just two weeks we will welcome the Class of 2029 to campus, including more than 1,390 students in the College of Arts and Sciences, who come to pursue their passion in everything from chemistry to fashion history to criminal justice. I can’t wait to watch the new class of Blue Hens explore and thrive.

As we continue to adapt to developments in technology and embrace a deeper understanding of humankind, the college is proud to add several tracks to the more than 90 programs we offer, including intensive language studies in French and Italian, language education tracks in Chinese and French, a bachelor of arts in theatre studies and a bachelor of science in quantitative biology.

I invite you to visit campus this fall for any of our public programs, like the Soles Lecture on September 19, which will feature Congresswoman Sarah McBride from Delaware, and of course Homecoming on November 8. Visit the UD Calendar to explore all the fall semester activities.

Sincerely,

Caleb Everett
