CAS Cornerstone
Dear Blue Hens,

We’re excited to welcome students back to campus for the spring semester. Over Winter Session, they had opportunities to recharge, gain valuable internship experience and explore other countries through more than 50 winter study abroad programs.

These transformative experiences are possible in part thanks to the CAS Student Success Fund, which facilitates immersive experiences for our students. It helps them become more adaptive, insightful and globally aware people, ready to solve problems that cross boundaries.

The College of Arts and Sciences celebrates innovative ideas from previous generations with the Darwin Day event on February 12. I am honored to be the keynote speaker, and I will be joined by three other speakers from the college. We will dive deep into the ways in which Darwin’s discoveries predicted the scientific future and continue to drive scientific exploration at UD.

Sincerely,
Caleb Everett
