Dear Blue Hen,

Just a few weeks ago I had the honor of presiding over the College of Arts and Sciences Convocation events for the first time. As hundreds of Blue Hens walked across the stage on their way to the next chapter of their lives, I was struck by the accomplishments of our students, as scholars and global citizens.

I also had the pleasure of attending Alumni Weekend where CAS alumni visited our Bands & Brew event. I loved seeing so many of you remember your time on campus and rekindle friendships you made here. Your time as a Blue Hen changed your life, and our faculty and staff strive to make the UD experience equally transformational for students today.

I look forward to meeting more of you and hearing your Blue Hen stories in the coming year. In the meantime, enjoy your summer.
